Just agreed to buy an Triumph Speed Triple 1050. I will then have two orange coloured bikes - how cool is that?

Damn! I've been shortchanged!
Did either of you chaps ever take a pillion on yours? - I used to have a 955 Speed Triple and Mrs Engineer was reasonably happy on that. This one is an '08 which has a bigger seat and lower pillion pegs than the previous one but it doesn't look exactly comfy, especially when compared to my current Sprint ST.

Mrs Uber went pillion a number of times on mine, the seat was fine, the pegs were a bit high, even for her at 5'4". She really liked the Triumph grab rail though.
