Looking for a few suggestions for my new car to see if there is something I've missed. Some tool crashed into my trusty fiesta and has written it off so starting to eye up a replacement over the next month or two. Requirements are pretty loose;
Currently do around 3k a year but this could extend to around 8
Needs to be OK with motorway miles nothing to highly geared etc
Fit two bikes in and 2 people up front the more the better
Ideally under 80k miles
Petrol preferred not essential though
Reliable, my budget will be maxed so need to rely on it for a few years
I'm 21 so nothing too stereotypically 'that'll be on it's roof in a field'. Currently looking at a4s, GTI, caddys so anything could work. Budget would be 5k absolute maxed out lending!
Honda Civic 1.8 petrol.
Car, bikes & reliable... as above a Civic.
Huge boot space, 3 bikes in the back with the seats down without really trying.
You can even fit a couple of road bikes in the back with the front wheel off & seats folded up if you want to keep the boot for other bits & pieces.
Nissan Almera 1.5
