No need to watch the whole thing just 6.15 - 6.50.
Belting down a nice fast decent first rider nearly takes out a walker who obviuosly is totally oblivious to the riders approaching
Then nearly gets a walking pole in the spokes on the bridge 20 meters further on.
A little further on and another big group, no bell ringing or shouts are obvious on the soundtrack and some poor old lady nearly ends up in a drainage ditch . Cue lets not apaologise but laugh at her predicament .
Its all abit unneccessary . Looks like a great day for ragging it , dry and fast rolling , but unfortunatly on the 2 occaisions the riders came across walkers there was nearly an accident .
I know 'nearly' isnt an accident , but a few inches or half a second and its a bike / oap interface .
LOL . I wasnt .
Thats got daily mail outrage written all over it.
Pillocks! Absolutely no need - and where were the cheery 'Hello's? ๐
Some people in life are muppets. And that includes bikers.

You appear to be a rambler - do you hate mtbs?
Also - those pair of riders weren't belting anywhere. There was enough mince to make the biggest pot of chilli that the world has ever seen in that video. The biggest problem that I can see is that the has the most irritating laugh known to man.
I dont think either of them could of stopped if one of the elderly women had side stepped and turned to see what was approaching .
and where were the cheery 'Hello's?
Yup, I can't imagine going past anyone in a fairly isolated area without saying hiya. Would also inform them if I was the last one/more to come.
sounds like they were having fun though..
they've ruined-wasted a good downhill with their mince beef ๐
To be honest they didn't seem too bad to me. Seemed to slow down when meeting groups of walkers.
they were all rubbish riders
Aye a wee warning wouldn't have gone amiss but the worst crimes there are the gay line choices, obstacle avoidance and worst of all riding around a water bar.
Seen a lot worse and TBH they are not belting down it now are they.
As with most things in life common sense will apply and it all seems light hearted and just a bit of a laugh.
Move on nothing to see here.....
Belting down a nice fast decent
I must have missed that bit.
the bit where he goes past the guy with sticks is just plain rude. I think he also approaches the group too quick although in reality he probably could of stopped and no one was in danger.
The second instance Im not sure what happens ! He does seem to slow down in plenty of time but then someone climbs into a drainage ditch ! The second rider laughs when but tt isn't really funny, just confusing ?!?!?!
doesnt matter if they are going slow they need to make walkers aware of them and give a bit of thought to it all.
Well I don't think the speed was excessive however it's always worth slowing down and a cheery Hello excuse me please thank you as you pass. Seen people have a few run in in the lakes with the ramblers it's events like this get us all a really poor rep.
Got a very good mate who's alway flying past walkers kid etc and it's just stupid, we all have to share and it's only us who'll get banned not [s]Satan's children[/s] the ramblers........ ๐
Attach one of these to your bike next time. That should do the trick ๐
Whats the biggy, just a bunch of giggly idiot mincing mtbers who slow down and are polite to walkers.
OMFG! WTF IS HAPPENING HERE?!?
somebody nearly died FFS!
hahahaha they were going well fast!
why is the mountain bikers in the wrong situation and people dont keep to the side as apposed to creating a 5 people line across the road.
i see this alot here with dogs too. when i walk i dont have a little spread across the road or pathway with a dog going loopy on the end of it.
think the mtbers get more shit than deserved sometime and if people used their pee brains a little more or was a little more aware of their surroundings.
The guy was laughing and screaming so loud i could here him here in INNSBRUCK!!!
๐ just my 2cents worth lol BOOM!
Seen worse. First matey boy slowed down but laughing hyenna didn't. Then both of them speed up and almost taking out the Old Dear with the stick.
ha ha ha.....was that a warm up lap or in slow motion ?
always amazed when I see vids and how shit they are.

lack of common courtesy. Let the walkers know you are there in plenty of time a bell helps greatly- nice cheery "thank you" and "lovely day" Or as appropriate when they move over for you
Walkers have right of way always. scaring them is stupid even if they are behaving like sheep
http://www.outdooraccess-scotland.com/out-and-about/recreation-activities/cycling/Do not endanger walkers and horse riders: give other users advance warning of your presence and give way to them on a narrow path.
Sort of tossers that give us all a bad name and no mistake.
im not saying we should aim for them, but 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. They should be 'sheep like' and we should slow up like the first guy, think its the just the freaky guys laugh lol
Unless there is another rider behind laughing hyena, someone else laughs in a girly manner - one of the ramblers maybe??
I've witnessed worse in mountain biker vs rambler interfaces, but got a feeling those guys in the video could have made themselves known more to the groups of ramblers.
Wrong thread
when i walk i dont have a little spread across the road or pathway
You would have been walking in single file in that situation ? ........I'm assuming that you're not referring to your body 'spreading'.
i see this alot here with dogs too.
The dogs in Innsbruck don't walk in single file either ?
No nick - they have right of way - the access code says alert them to your presence.

Too right. It's common courtesy and common sense.
