Youngest has an Amazon Fire 8 8th gen. tablet and the screen is proper broke. Local ipod fixers wont fix it and cant seem to find anywhere that looks legit on google.
Never replaced one myself, seems I need plastic things and a heat gun? Is it tricky to DIY?

I did it on a 7. It is not too difficult to do, but don't let any dust get between the glass and the display.
