Lily is from Pembrokeshire and is a good friend of my son’s best pal.
She’s ace and a real inspiration to a lot of people round here.

Remarkable young lady - she seemed really good at supporting younger ones as well.

Just watched the last 15 minutes of that. Looked amazing. Great to see people pushing the limits.

My son saw some similar footage. The physio’s face was a picture at his next wheelchair assessment when she asked what he wants from his new chair and he said he wants to be able to do tricks and somersaults. Somehow I don’t think the NHS would pay for one to do that!

Yeah I caught some of that. Rather oddly I took some inspiration that, following a recent diagnosis, if the worst does happen there is still potential for doing stupid stuff. Couldn’t say that to my partner as talk like that upsets her but still it means something to me even if I am a 46 year old man who frankly should know better.

I nearly turned the TV off as it was starting but glad I didn’t, I thought it was excellent. Some people really are an inspiration and manage to do worthwhile things with their life. I might have got a bit emotional.
