Just been to my local tip to dump 4 small cardboard boxes as my home bin is now full and it's towards the end of the 2 week bin collection.
I work as an engineer from home and every now and again I have a few items delivered to me. The contents of the boxes included a few bits of packaging and general waste from home. Before I had change to get rid of it I was told that the item was 'trade waste' and its my company's responsability to dispose of the boxes.
As the company is 200 miles away and its a small amount of waste does common sense not prevail?
There must be a good reason as to why it was identified as trade waste. Boxes with bits of waste in them get taken to tips all the time!
Put the boxes in the bin and take your household waste to the tip.
It had the company name on the side of box.
If it was general trade waste I could understand but a box?!

Like the boxes you get that have "Amazon" on the side of them? Or maybe one that has Giant down the front of it?
How did they know it was your company?
Unless you turned up in a company van, in which case that's a beginner's mistake 🙂
I was in a black passat.
If I was an electrician dumping waste from a job then I could understand it.
Maybe I just got the Friday's jobworth!
