Well I have finally sold my bike and the person buying it have paid through with a "e cheque"
What is it and once clear will it be OK.
Advice please.

Depends upon who the echeque is made through, if it's Paypal you'll be fine, just wait for full clearance before you let the bike go.

yes it is through Paypal, so in a word once clear I'm good to go.

I received payment by echeque once and it took about 10 days to clear into my account. I'd double-check that the buyer is aware of this as he'll have to wait a bit to get whatever it is you're selling.
