How do I fix an airlock in a thermostatic mixer shower? The shower is fed from a pump downstairs.
I’ve cleared the airlock in the mixer taps upstairs but no joy in the shower. If I alter temp on the shower to very cold it flows but not if I ramp up the heat. Cheers!

Have you tried it with the spray head removed, to max the flow?

Are you sure it is an airlock? Had an identical issue with ours, turned out it was crap dislodged from the HWT that had been held up by the mixer pre-filter and blocked flow. About a 20 minute job to fix (preceded by 3 hours of trying to clear an air lock.....) provided that you can stop the hot water flow to the mixer.

Is there a non return valve on the cold feed? It can be possible for the hot water to push it's way back down the cold side.

I'd out my bet on low flow rate to the pump.
Ours does the same but luckily our shower has a overhead rose a separate hand unit. If I switch to the hand unit and move it down the head height becomes enough to trigger the pump and I then quickly switch to the overhead it works.
