thassit really. One or couple of nights along the coast highway bewtween LA & SF - 1 near hearst castle (so just clean room to sleep & shower in), then a few nights in SF in a niceish hotel.
Any top tips to inpart ?

we stayed in a motel about 5 miles south of hearst castle right on the coast, buggered if I can remember which chain it was, the town was called Cambria, hth

IHN - I have a wife who likes things booked up (& 2 youngish kids), are they really that numerous that it'll be a doddle ?

As this guy says i stayed in 4 or 5 motel/hotel over a 2 week period in 2008 some seem a bit quiet put all where fine for slepping. If you want to book up all the usual expedia, last minute have cheap and cheerful motels.
