Hi,
So got my X-ray results back and I've been referred to shoulder surgeon to discuss my ACj arthritis.Mainly in my right shoulder but left one hurts too.
Physio says from bricklaying for a job and sports.I had a X-ray on this ten years ago which is forgotten about which showed early signs of osteoarthritis and in that time it's gotten worse.Im 44 and love sports/gym/fitness based activities.
Anyone else have this condition, how do you manage it and any tips.
Many thanks cheers 👍🏻Â
I've had my left AC joint decompressed, about 15 years ago - repeated crashes finally buggered it up. Took about 18 months to be back to 100%. Right shoulder is like a bag of spanners now, but I've a more pressing bicep tendonitis and rotator cuff tear, but the physio said the AC joint is crunchy. It's painful, but I'm going to leave it be for now. I am 55 now. So left was fixed when I was about 40 (after a car finally mashed it).
