Sign up to a vpn service, I use NordVPN
Download the app and log in
Choose a server from the map in the U.K.
Run iplayer

Although soon you'll need to register for iplayer, which I believe will be linked to your tv license

VPN will help, but not sure how long for

We used tunnel bear VPN but you do now have to register with the BBC. Before you could bypass this section by declaring you have a TV license but now you have to sign in. In order to sign in you have to set up an account which includes a U.K. address with your details. I can't remember if it asked for my TV license No or not.

In Germany, using Channelhopper. It's €5 per month, very responsive help team.
Works as a page in Internet explorer so ca be saved. Don't have to switch vpn on each time. Gets the full BBC and other uk channels.

I registered on the BBC through this and used my mums address and post code.
