Noob question here. I have started playing about with a simple database but have built up a large number of queries that I just can't delete.

How do I do it?

Wow...playing about with Access?? Good luck fella. The manual for Access is a clue to how difficult it is to master. There are much easier ways of creating simple data bases.

Right...

I have just tried it and its pretty easy. To the left of the screen there is the 'Navigation panel' which will have a list of all you tables and the queries that go along with it.
(if its not there, there are 2 >> arrows click on that and it will pop open)

Just right click on the query you want to close, click delete and bobs your uncle.
If it says cant be deleted cause its open, find the query on the main screen (to the right) right click and close it, then try deleting it again.

Hope that helps..
Cheers
Josh..
