Wow! You lot have good memories, I can barely remember most of the gigs I've been to.

Maybe I could do an A-Z of the various drugs I've used at different gigs., perhaps causing me to have little memory f them.

This could take some time.

I think I might have to do this in instalments! I’m just looking through lists I compiled over a period from around 1985 to 2003, and there’s a lot of bands, headliners and supports. This is something I’ve sort of intended to do, but to do it alphabetically is going to be time consuming, to say the least!
This is as far as I’ve got:
Adrian Legg
Aimee Mann
Alanis Morissette
Allanah Myles
All About Eve
Altan
Arnold
And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead
Babes In Toyland
Bangles
Be Good Tanyas
Belly
Beltane Fire
Bellatrix
Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man
Beth Nielsen Chapman
Beth Orton
Bis
Big Leaves
Big Thief
Björk
Blind Boys Of Alabama
Blondie
Blood Red Shoes

Catatonia
Capercaillie
Capri
Cara Dillon
Chacha Cohen
Cowboy Junkies
Chris Difford
Curve
Dar Williams
Dark Star
Deus

The Divine Comedy
The Drink
Dubstar

Fugazi were absolutely brilliant. I ahd a mate who came to the gig without knowing them and he didn't like them - you know how that sort of thing ruins the memory of a gig?? I mostly remember that and the sound of the snare drum ripping through me.

Yes, Fugazi were awesome live, MCR Boardwalk 89 and at the Irish club in Hulme. Only saw them these two times. Black Flag, yes plenty of mutuals there 😃. Looking at some of these lists, perhaps an A to Z of bands I should have seen would be in order...

Parachute men

Saw them at a scout hut in New Malden, due to a mix up publicising the date the audience was me, two mates and the promoter, there were more bouncers than paying customers. Good gig though, ears were ringing for days.

Astley, Virginia (iirc she played a flute...)
Bonnie “Prince” Billy or Buzzcocks (Buzzcocks were the first band I went to see)
CRASS (preaching Anarchy from music hall stages, at, er, the Aberdeen Music Hall... 🤪)
Dylan, Bob (surprisingly he was really good, despite it being in the ‘00’s)
Exploited, The (support for Cockney Rejects I think.. 🤦‍♂️)
Fugazi
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Hurrah (possibly the same gig as V Astley...)
I
Jones, Elvin (amazing jazz drummer, played in Coltranes bands)
Killdozer
Lampchop
Mudhoney or My Bloody Valentine
N
Orange Juice
Pixies (the original line up, back in ‘88)
Rapeman or REM
SCARS (the embra band, awesome first gig at Music Hall In Aberdeen)
Tinariwen (and Trio Bulgarka, going for the world theme)
UK Subs (can’t believe I’m admitting to this, at least it was only ‘79)
Van Etten, Sharon
Win or Wire (wire was at triptych fest, also Andre Williams, Komputer & Pan Sonic the same night)
X
Y
Z

Keep thinking I should be able to find ones for I & N at least...

There is only one band I wish that I had seen – Fugazi. Please tell me they were as good as I imagined?

Is it really ****ty to say yes to this?

First time i saw them it was their first time over around 88/89ish and they played Planet X in liverpool and it was packed out, then Wigan the next night (or two??) and virtually no one turned up. I was with a mate who roadied for black flag when they came to the uk in the early 80s along with Ian Mackay. So spent the evening playing pool with Fugazi in an emptyish club. Bizzare and amazing.
