Looking at my holiday allowance and what I have already planned, it looks like I have an unaccounted for week in my holiday allowance.
On the basis of having a weeks holoday spare, so 9 days, inspire me for adventure plans.
Id prefer on the continent (already have a fortnight in Scotland and several weekends away in UK planned) but happily swayed.
Low budget - say £600ish
Could be touring bike tour with wee tent, bike packing themed, taking the big tent for a base & road bike or.....?
Not interested in Alps DH gnarr or guided week.
Leaving from Scotland, but happy to drive to continent if need be.
Although you said not Scotland, how about tour of the islands north of Scotland?

Touring the Scottish Islands would be ace but my fortnight holiday already booked will be sailing Skye, Ourer Hebrides & St Kilda in June so would like to spend the other week I a different part really...
How about drive to Portsmouth, leave the car & catch a ferry for bike packing?
Could get a ferry to Santander/Bilbao for Cantabrian MTB
