.... is the latest slogan from the Dominic Cummings school of policy. I'm getting sick of hearing the BS spouted from the mouths of government ministers so from now on I'm just going to watch children's TV. Should be more informative

Not to be confused with the slogan my local knackers yard uses

"Shooting the horse after the gate is bolted"

As a kid, I never understood this phrase. I assumed "stitch in time" was some sort of Doctor Who (or similar) reference, rather than preventative darning.
