I kayaked round there last summer. It was a lot less exciting than that. Lots of great caves to explore.

Lived there for 12 years. Just a good drying day today 😜

That's rough, but not that unusual.
I've been up at eshaness when the sea is blowing up over the cliffs at the carpark a good few times, the cliffs are about 100ft asl too..

Atleast it was a fine night for Up Helly Aa night.

😂 Yeh, several of them each year 😂 Lerwick UHA usually has 1000 torches soaked in a special mixture of paraffin and oil and stuff. The country fire festivals aren't as big, but still impressive.

Plus Sullom Voe and one of the largest active peat bogs in Europe having enormous wind farms built on it 😞
