So according to this, it's 7 not 3 that's the magic number...

OK I'll take it for what it is, a jokey way of looking at the question that everybody wants to ask their new partner but is always afraid to, but genuinely I'm shocked. Despite having had 3 very serious monogamous relationships that total almost 10 years, having spent a large portion of my 20's single and as good as celibate, and never having been the kind of person into one night stands or going out to get drunk and "pull", I would still be considered by many as well into "Uber Whore" territory apparently!

Best hope the next person that has the dubious honour of asking me the question isn't at all judgemental! 😳

Just seems as if it was written purely to make everyone think sex is a bad thing outside of a committed relationship!

3 is the best number at a time - 7 would be a bit much

Yep, I'd agree, bs. I wonder if the sample was as representative of age as the ones for [s]errection[/s] election polls

Well someone's stats are certainly compensating for mine. Come on, own up.

Oops, that was why my wife looked at me funny when she asked 'the question' early in our relationship! I'm definitely into male slag territory 😳

Joking aside, that's the thing. I'm 37, I was a late starter, since I popped my cherry I've spent about half the time in a relationship, and half of it single. When I've been single, I have been anything but a slag, but obviously I have dated, but then for some reason it has fizzled out before a relationship formed. It's fair to say I've been unlucky in love, rather than having been a male slag.

But apparently, according to society, my behaviour is quite shocking and I am to be appalled at myself! 😕

^ I'd steer clear of topics like this in your shoes; I saw your weird 1am post earlier this week before it got nuked.

Brilliant at the time but looking back with much older eyes I wouldn't take anywhere near as many risks , unprotected sex complete strangers was ok in the late 70s / 80s but not now .

Genuinely shocked it got pulled! OK I was a smidge tipsy when I wrote it, having had many pints in the pub, but... It wasn't in any way graphic!

Anyway... Woke up next day, thought better of it. My drunken curiosity turned into thoughts of "no way do I even need that in my life, not now, not ever." Met up with him again the next night for a bit more of a chat, turned out she REALLY screwed him over! Glad I didn't bother, I'd have just ended up hating her from the start because of that, would have been an evening wasted. Went out on the motorbike in the end for a few hours, bumped into a couple of old friends. All good...

unprotected sex complete strangers was ok in the late 70s / 80s but not now .

I doubt it was any different mate... Just that we're far more aware of the risks these days! 😯
