Not the West End and not a pub! What I'm really looking for is somewhere interesting to walk around with my camera.
Suggestions please.

I like a walk from Parliament Square, over Westminster bridge - along south bank to Tate Modern. Into Tate modern for a mooch about. Then across the Millennium (?) bridge to St Paul's
You get an interesting mix of architecture (I seem to be the only person I've ever met who likes 1960s brutalism like the south bank) and rivers are always photogenic.
I guess its a bit obvious - others may be able to suggest more hidden places?
If it's ****ing down I'm more than happy to kill 3 hours in Tate modern- but then I like modern art.
The Monument - great views & cheaper than the Ferris wheel
And not too far from Bankside, The Globe & The Millennium Bridge
A wander around the square mile taking in St Pauls, Leadenhall market and the Monument.
If you have time then maybe Wapping High Street or Shad Thames.
