I've got a couple of days coming up soon after the May bank holiday to spend with my brother - he's mid 30's and outdoorsy but with no specific sports (he can't climb or kayak unfortunately) and worse still doesn't like biking 😯

Any suggestions for a decent (and cheap) couple of days away in the UK with a bit of outdoor excitement? Was thinking of maybe walking a trail or basing ourselves in a mountain area to explore. We've done the touristy bits of the Lakes to death and North Wales is my home patch so looking for something a bit different and away form the crowds.

Any suggestions much appreciated 😀

Thanks for the quick replies - you beat me to finishing the post.

Djglover - I'm intrigued, but his wife and daughter might not thank me.

Spongebob - Any suggestions for places away from the crowds?

Surfing, North Devon, Parkdean/Ruda is one accom place, lots of other. (Will be busy). Good coastal walks.

Walking, canadian opens, camping down Wye,

Coasteering, St Davids, surfing, camping Newgale beach, bitches rib ride, walking in Pembroke

Hampshire does walking leaflets - Wayfarers Walk etc, Test valley Way, so possibly do other areas.

If it's a walk you want what about the South Downs Way, the Ridgeway or the North Downs Way.

Easy to get to and from but make sure your passport's up to date! 😀
