Bird had some on clearance for under £600. Need to add an axle and shock for more £££ (they have a few options) but still a decent price.
Think it's the 145mm travel which you can add a -160mm linkage too if desired
£1100 would get you a Cotic Rocket frame (not the just released one but the outgoing longshot version). Slightly over budget but lovely frame.
A little over budget but Sunset MTB had some 2019 Orange Five frames for just over a grand - should be an easy swap with bits off your Crush
That Bird is nice. You can get a shock that'll put it well under budget. Decent warranty too.
