Personally I peaked too early and went to bed before the voting. Glad I did given the result. Maybe if we had to get through the semis we'd put in a bit more effort. I think Sam Ryder proved we can still do well with a good song and performer.

Other thought - very quiet thread on here. Is this a measure of the decline of STW forum that I think we all know is happening but seems to be denied in STW towers. A quick google shows that a few years back EV was running to 5 pages, this is barely a quarter of that, and even less than half of last year.
To be fair, half of that was probably me being a gobshite and I was otherwise engaged this year so couldn't watch with a laptop next to me.

Well that was entirely predicatble. THe UK sends a dreadful act who isnt even a musician or singer by trade so we do as badly as usual. Israel organises all the expats in elegiible countries to vote as much as possible because they think it deflects from their war crimes.
