[Closed] 2 Weeks in August

We have two weeks in August which we had something planned for that has gone to crap. I need suggestions as Mrs Matt has a tendency to ignore any attempt at actually planning anything in advance.

I have thought either a last minute flyaway all inclusive type thing or chuck everything in the car and drive to somewhere in France and pitch the enormo-tent.

For info - we will have a 5yr old in tow so need things to keep him entertained. It doesn't have to include bike as I am away for a week in Chatel at the end of July.
