Did a search but can't see any app thread despite this thread. Got the usual suspects- twitter, espn, trainline, google maps but any really handy apps people have come across? I'd quite like a recipe/meal suggestion app but haven't found one that really does what I want

It is app that brings together the daily feeds of your favourite online resources. For example, on mine i have the bbc, discover magazine, nat geo, dirt, plus a load of others. It is all presented in a scrollable strip form.

psychle, how do you find the gps on your s2?

Mine is taking absolutely ages to lock on, if at all and seems very temperamental. Having found out it's a known issue, I'm not sure if there's something wrong with my handset or not.

I'm now really loving MM tracker. Google Skymap is a bit of fun- free too. Tells you the names of the stars/ constellations. A torch app is useful too- I have one called Flashlight, but if somebody knows of one that flashes SOS can you let me know?

Moon 3D is great for when my coven meets.
Cover Art Downloader lets me download cover art. Blimey- it does what it says on the tin!

Also Winamp for music, and Advanced Task Manager for task management- durrr 😉

I much prefer Doggcatcher over Listen for podcasts. I travel quite a lot with work so download all manner of stuff (mostly either comedy or new music stuff) to listen to on flights in hotel rooms etc.
