A pal of mine's been going through a dreadful time lately and it's made me reflect on all of the good things in life that we can all be happy about. So here's a few for starters:
It's been sunny a week and the riding's been superb - not too hot, not too cold.
The evenings are getting lighter.
Will soon be sat in the garden, watching the sun set on hot summer evenings.
The buds, blossom, foliage and wild flowers are bursting out everywhere.
Opening the window to birdsong in the morning.
The smell of cut grass is back in the air.
Please continue.....

Goggle tan - stupid yet cool
Ice cold Pelforth as the sun sets after the last run of the day
Snowboarders falling over
La Piste Luc Alphand, off the first lift of the day, ripping the fresh corduroy all the way down
Sandrine at the little cafe on the square with my coffee ever day after the above
Getting yourself so tired you fall asleep at 2000 and don't mind one bit!
(Guess where I've just been! 🙂 )

Wearing short sleeved t-shirts on a bike ride and feeling the warm wind on your arms.
Eating cake after a bike ride.
Being able to leave the back door open without freezing to death.
Hanging the washing out on the outside line instead of in the house.
Learning to recognise your first bird song 😀

a nice hot strong cup of tea

that slightly surreal feeling you get at about 3am on the third night of a week long music festival. in the chai walla tea tent after those nice hippies that live in a converted bus made you a cup of tea that smelt very 'earthy'

when your partner/kids/best mate/mum/one night stand from wrexham wakes you up with a nice hot strong cup of tea..

drinking a nice hot strong cup of tea and truly beleiving that this is the best cup of hot strong tea that you have tasted so far..

I am with the majority - sun, warmth, being able to walk in and out of the house and leave the door open as I come and go.

Yesterday I was playing football with a group of 6 yr olds at a birthday party and I was just wearing a teeshirt.

EDIT: And trousers etc

I've finished putting a new kitchen in and the I've nearly finished putting in the dining room floor. No more DIY for a few months, and a massive sense of achivement.
