I remember seeing one at the Malverns one year thinking to myself, a FS with 6" rear travel? madness!

admittedly at the time, most forks were barely touching 80mm (more like 63mm) so having that much at the back seemed bonkers.

I had an FXC same as NickC's above. It cracked 3 times and I couldn't be bothered sending it away for months to the U.S.A. for a second time so threw it in the recycling skip.

I really wanted a Foes DH bike (in red) with the huge Curnutt 2:1 shock and Curnutt triple crown forks with the huge 30mm front axle/hub. Probably a bit overkill for Devon though.
