this bike is only available in the US – soz!

Pretty sure they announced Canadian pricing and cut out speeds in the launch material.

Does that Skitch have mudguard brackets at all? I can't see from the photos and, quite honestly, I would be disappointed if it did not. I mean, it's a city bike ffs.

It's a Californian city bike though.

Planet X Sketch coming soon…

Planet X A Sketch. In red only with two white twirly knobs.

And away from discussions about electric city bikes the UK isn't getting (yes I know STW is worldwide...), that Cerakote purple... yes please.

Got a friend out there that is currently shocked at the wet 'end of days' that is happening... Normally it is dry between March and November. Apparently this year (before now), it rained in MAY!!!!!

Getting off topic slightly, but maybe the lack of mounting options is just because there's no space for them, it doesn't look cool and they genuinely don't expect/want to sell it outside hot/dry countries. I'll admit that it looks a lovely bike (in that colour: yes please!), but I'd want to put something on there to stop me getting sprayed every puddle.

An Isuzu D Max I assume.

Looks like the most niche of niche markets!

If I understood the launch video correctly, it's available in a "one size fits all" geometry - ie "we are only making one size because we probably aren't going to sell many and have you seen the tooling cost of 5 sizes?!".

Looks like it comes in 5 sizes… that video is full of, er, jokes.

Oh, here’s the original thread on this bike.

Just had a test ride on the Skitch courtesy of Mikes Bikes in San Fran - strong want 🙂

Could also do with UK e-bike laws changing too 😜
