I got stuck as it wanted to know what NRW had done .... I have no idea as i've never heard of them so needs a 'don't know' type answer for that

It's not the greatest of surveys, but push on through and let them know what you want them to do!

Will they impose a 20mph limit descending Snowdon? 🤔😉

I'll read the article later 👍

Um Weeksy that is not a question. They are telling you what they've done so far, just click OK 😉

Later they ask questions about what NRW have done and whether you agree or disagree with the statements... but as i don't know... well it makes it hard to answer and they're liekly quite important to their survey.

It's not a great survey.

Oh ok fair enough... I thought they were asking about what they were planning on doing and the statements simply came from their previous meetings/discussions on the subject... agree with the comments about "it's not a great survey" but still possible to answer it I thought.

NRW is what used to be the Environment Agency and Forestry Commission in Wales.

So, Dafydd Davis (FC employee back in 1990's) built Coed y Brenin trails and the template was copied into many other trail centres across the UK...

Done as we need more voices, the Ramblers are a big force in Wales for some reason!

Have been dealing with NRW a bit recently, trying to find a site for RC crawlers to use as a permanent home. One person in NRW is very interested in doing something but for some reason others are blocking any progress despite three sites being identified. It's not funding but I fear some walkers are trying to block one site as it's used as an unofficial car park by a few groups.

I'm working really closely with NRW as part of a local mtb community project, so was quite excited to see what it would say.

That was just... confusing. I have absolutely no idea what outcome they're realistically trying to get from that or how they'll get anything useful from that survey. That's not how card sorting works.

I don't envy NRW as they have to listen to everybody and manage many different opinions. For my part, they do a good job and it's better to have a combined organisation who can take a holistic view of rivers, forests etc.

Improvements as I see it are replacing some softwood plantations (which are not big money earners anyway) with more diverse environments e.g. hardwood canopies, lakes, wetlands and more to increase wildlife and plant diversity. It takes a generation to do this but worth it in the long run. You could have a cool piece of singletrack through it all aswell!

I'm not sure the survey is really aimed at individuals.  I'm sure it makes sense to people who work in NRW.  I know a few I'll ask them what they think of it.  But it's a bit odd tbh.

Done. The survey was badly designed and confusing.

Agreed, badly designed and worded survey. Seems like an opportunity lost to effectively gauge the public’s thoughts.
