The Pace frame looks like a winner with a price that's not horrific compared to the rest, just a shame i'm not ready to build a hardtail just now
The price of the Pace frame caught my eye - then realised it was exc. VAT...might be worth clarifying for those of us in the UK?
I've been admiring that Rioja red Pace frame for a while. It's almost a shame that I already have a perfectly good trail hardtail.
Never seem to see those out in the wild, maybe people don't look past the offerings from Cotic, Stanton, etc.
Looks like great value next to that new Mason Raw, lovely looking as that is too.

Yep. Another fan of that Pace right here. However it's an indication of what's happened to pricing lately when one looks at a £682 hardtail and the reaction is "you know what, that's not a bad price".

It's the primer I have sat in the basket. Frame only as I was hoping to build it up with some of my spares box and just buy a fork and a few other things.

The price of the Boone cranks seems pretty reasonable, ... when you compare it to the price of the chainring. Holy moly!
And BTW, whilst the elasticity of titanium is great for hardtail frames, I'm not convinced its a good material for chainrings, at any price.

So the dog stuff is good and I applaud the green recycling angle but............it comes all the way from Portland, Oregon. Is there not a UK supplier of similar for a lower carbon footprint?

Sign me up for the Pace fan club as well! There's been a large RC529 frame in the basket in one or other colour for ages, cand decide between primer or rioja though.

I've got the Dissent waterproof outer shells, they seem really well made but even though I sized up they still seemed a little snug with a Merino liner underneath. Might actually punt them and get next size bigger because currently they're not really any use once it gets cold! So do your research on sizing before you invest.
I do like those cranks, they would go nicely on my Ti Tarn.
It is not obvious on the product page but the axle you need is a Raceface cinch axle (though Easton and Cannondale also make some). The nice thing with this is the RF make a variety of lengths so you could easily swap the cranks between a boost, super boost and even fat bike. As they use a RF axle you can therefore also use the tarty RF coloured crank bolts. What I couldn't work out is if you need the cinch preload ring, I'm assuming yes.
I want to know more about the USB chargeable blue tooth loafers on Rhys's work bench... I heard that Giro are making hipster office shoes that not only measure your wattage but also your gravitational pull of your facial hair.

I wonder why dropouts for mixing 29" & 27.5" are always horizontal? They could be made at an angle so that the BB height is maintained also. Or should I copyright my idea... ?
Um that glove system looks really neat - I could replace the 3 pairs I currently use through the year - summer/mid-season/cold'n'wet with just...4 pairs!
The loafers are a prototype. They're heated, they count your steps, and they have a sensor to alert when you need to cut your nails. They vibrate if you stand too close to instant coffee, and beep loudly anytime they hear the word 'steed' used in reference to a bike.

I have the Pace 129 (the 529's predecessor). It has the same dropouts. They are designed to lengthen or shorten the wheelbase so great for singlespeed, but what makes these suitable for a mullet? They don't change the geo of the ST, HT or BB.
That pace is lovely. Sort of boggles my mind that replacable/adjustable dropouts aren't more common, it's just such a sensible way of doing mullet bikes. Or, you know, bikes in general, for axle standards etc.
Back when 650b was kicking off someone was making new dropouts for a few bikes that were angled so it didn't mess up the geo, they were in Dirt being used on a GT.
