Hope it's not the last weekend in April or the 1st one in May.
It's usually later that those anyway.

It’s part of the World Champs for all cycling disciplines - think more September

It looked ace, apart from sitting at home in shorts and seeing everyone there in coats and hats!

It was a strange one, weather-wise. A little of most weather, but happily not particularly cold.

It was ace though.

Think it may be interesting to see how hard it will be to get accommodation for this, given that the will be more competitors.

Must be living in a cave - the whole world champs coming to Scotland had completely passed me by. Happy days!

I'm not sure it would be the DH I'd be heading to watch mind.

I got to the last World Champs at Fort Bill. I still recall a fantastic weekend (actually extra long weekend so a few mates and I got some riding in on the Fri and Sat en route in t'Yorkshire, then Dumfries on the way up, and in the Lakes on the way back down on the Monday. Amd obvs the actual DH racing onnthe Sunday.

If it's in August then the crowds at fort bill will be eaten alive by midges. I hope they change it to September. I might give it a go though.

Would be good but I suspect they'll keep it at Cathkin Braes as per the original plan.

Good news for Scotland and I’m sure it’ll be ace but a part of me wishes they’d resurrect the Champery course once again. Loved that super steep insanity of a track.

Not exactly a surprise, since we knew it was gonna be somewhere in Scotland anyway.

And I think I'm getting Fort Bill fatigue now. The racing's just a bit dull, even with the current crop of amazing riders IMO.

Imagine if a WC standard track was built in the Tweed Valley instead? How exciting would that be?
