Bought a bike and arranged for collection. Was assured by the seller that the bike would be well packed. Seller sent me a pic to show that it had been collected. I have to admit I was rather taken aback at the somewhat unconventional solution.
Tbh I'm not that worried that it'll get to me unscathed. Used to work for Parcelforce and know it'll be treated with more care than a bike box would.
Still, its not how I'd have done it....

Yes, the tyres are the most fragile part of a bike 😉
