Wheel truing and a new bottom bracket recommended whether you need it or not.

Given they managed to mess up one of my cars by taking it for an extended test drive around town (read a thrash), nah. I'll just get my local place to do my servicing thanks.

Yeah, the clowns at QF took my car for a bit of a jolly too. Only way I found out, is they got a camera speed ticket, nowhere near their workshops. Tsk tsk.

I thought this was more corporate ebike fleet servicing rather than anything else?

I don’t know if this is something the big chains eg. Halfords/Evans already do, but you’d have to assume that big fleets want to deal with someone national rather than an LBS, even if the LBSs have the capacity?

I'd forgotten about this until I drove past a Kwik fit last night and spotted the fettle bike repair signage.

Has anyone used one, or know someone who has?

Just interested to see if the tie in with Kwik fit locations works. I mean it's been a couple of years since this thread,  so I'd guess it does?

A friend's son works for them.  Seem to treat staff well and it looks like a good idea, using an app to book your bike in.  I guessing you're not getting suspension serviced, frame bearings replaced etc but for Joe Bloggs needing a basic service it might work.

I'm normally an 'anti the chain MOT place' guy.. but I will say the kwikfit in Hove is actually really good; friendly, useful, never tried overselling, and even went the extra mile on a few occasions.

YMMV

Didn't know about this, thought it might be a good opportunity for my son to get away from Halfords, but they have tons of jobs available, not a single bicycle technician.... do they only offer it at a few locations?
