Evening all. Looking to do a chunk of Trans Pennine Trail tomorrow up to Hull, and if feeling fresh, on to Hornsea. Google tells me there are no trains from Hornsea so I've got to retrace my steps to Hull. I could go the same sort of distance on to Brid instead. Anyone know how heinous the roads are from Hornsea to Brid?

Up to Hull will be 70 miles, Hornsea and back to Hull or on to Brid will make it a century so a big day out, so I don't want the last 15 to be grim.

Cheers Tony, just had another look on Streetview, looks like there's just that first mile or three on the A165 to worry about, after that the footpath appears and is shared use. It'll be Friday afternoon and there isn't much width for me and a caravan on that road.

Take this route up to Brid taking in Woldgate which has found fame recently in David Hockneys paintings.
Stay off the A165 back to Hull.
