Never attended an organised race before. Looks fun. Anyone take part? What can I expect?
To have plenty of company, 160 plus riders on the Senior start line at the last round, and to be lapped,possibly several times.
I'm organising the 11th June Round in Guiseley Nunroyd Park, its going to be brilliant, a great new venue.
I'm fully expecting a darn good lapping. But don't know just how out of place I might feel. I'll make sure the guiseley race is flagged up to my sports desk guys.
I'll be at my old school (Colne Valley High) for the next round on my MTB. As usual it'll be bloody hard graft, but still lots of fun regardless.
yep done the first 2. they are great. very well organised and a good relaxed atmosphere. the last race saw 165-170 mass start (apart from gridded top 30). you'll not be out of place there are all kinds of riders/racers there for all kinds of reasons.
