Yeah, the route goes over some bits that are a bog at the best of times.
lots of DNF this year. 6 folk in know myself all dropped out.

Looks a great ride for summer! Alot of riders still battling there way round looking at the trackers . 💪 .
my first attempt at anything like this and it was brutal.
the fields were mostly unrideable and super slow going.
The gates - wow there are a lot of them.
I opted for the short route from york as my neck was not good and decided i'd rather make it back than have to stop some where random.
i rolled in at midnight on saturday after refusing to stop with only 100km to go - as someone said the last 50km were down hill .. hahaha i was not in a happy place.
