having come over from a turner flux which i view as one of the very finest full-sus xc frames out there (climbs like a mountain goat and is rock solid under pedalling), i am noticing much more suspension movement under pedalling on the asr.
i have the shock inflated to the right psi for my weight and the pro-pedal switched on to 2... am i doing something wrong?
Is your tyre pressure too high in the rear?
i'm running at about 30psi... racing ralph 2.25" on arch ex rim tubeless... i'm about 90kgs in the nudey too (if that makes any difference)
Why have you changed if you already had a good bike?
sometimes you don't know how good a bike is until you have sold it.
anyways... always wanted a yeti and fancied a bit more travel at the back.. almost went for a 5-spot, but thought i would scratch the yeti itch first... have a bit of an ibis itch too which will need scratching at some point.
Get a 5 Spot..
It's (effectively) a single pivot, you're coming from a dw link. What did you expect?
what size and colour is the asr5?
I will look after it for you to stop the bobbing from bother you.
am i doing something wrong?
yes - not riding a Turner...
Should have got a 66.
I always liked the look of Yeti's, just not the single pivot.
Glad I waited until they came out with a proper design.
don't get me wrong, the asr5 is an epic steed... i just never really acknowledged how absolutely amazing the turner flux was (aside from skinning my ankle on the fatter-than-fat chainstay)
epic steed
*runs away from thread screaming*
Turn pro-pedal up to 3?
Turn pro-pedal up to eleven?
pedal smoothly. no problems on mine coming from a giant trance.
