Should I:

A) Clean up the frame, sell it, and put the the....what....£400...towards something a little more contemporary

B) As above, but pay off some credit card debt

c) Slap on a double and bash, bolt-up the rear end with a 10mm Hope conversion kit, spunk £450 on some adjustable 110-150mm forks and let the **** rip? Yeeehaw...

Answers please....

B) is obviously the sensible option...
C) may be fun, but surely the headangle will end up horrible and you've only got 3 inches on the rear... you'll probably end up ripping the front off as well?

I have an '07 Asr-sl also, it's now my wifes bike, she only weighs 50kg so it suits her very well... me, at 90+ kg I blew through the travel a bit too easily... ended up with an Enduro SL instead, now sold and soon to have a Mojo HD140... 🙂

I must admit I find at blows through the travel a bit quick sometimes, despite care with setup, I'm 81kg. I was thinking of upgrading the shock to the new Boost Valve version, the correctly tuned one from Yeti of course, but then we are looking at spending £800 for a bike that is really a novelty, rather than maybe making a few quid for selling it. Hard to let it go though to be honest, such a beautiful frame.
