Up the mendips today, got back to the car and sat there on the boot changing out of the sodden clothes. Chap in next car with his mate starts mouthing while eyeing over to my car loudly about his experiences working for YT Industries (just loud enough i could hear clearly), their R&D department (which is massive apparently), he'd get the sack if he told his mate what was in there! Also possibilities of getting a free bike, quote "YT industries is what its all about". Made me cringe out of my skin, wanted to get out of there asap.
I'm sure YT industries are pleased they have him on the team anyway. Might work for the bullshitters department. I'm sure theres plenty in other sports too.

I was up the Mendips too yesterday. I didn't see any cocks crowing about YT, but I don't see anyone else either. Not surprising really, conditions are terrible at the moment.

Mendips would correlate with the location of their new UK country manager Cliff, who also happens to be a bloody good bloke, full of enthusiasm not just for his job but also for MTB as a whole. He's also the person behind the Dirt Wars dirt jump competition that has done well over recent years.
In other words a thoroughly nice chap, very much living his dream. He's someone I've crossed paths with personally and professionally several times now over the last few years and I can definitely vouch for him as a good guy.
Sorry if his enthusiasm for life and work offends your jaded views OP.
