Hi does anyone know if xtreme mountain bikes that used to be based at bridge mills in holmfirth are still in buisness, and if so were did they move to.

Hi. I used to pop in there a long time back. They shut down years ago (maybe over a decade ago?)As far as I know they no longer exist.

Closed down and didn't morph into anyone else as far as I can tell. I was under the impression that there were financial irregularities going on but I have nothing to substantiate it.

Sadly not, and I've been struggling to find a shop as good ever since. I've settled on 18 Bikes as my local down here.

I think they simply didn't make any money- Duncan just cared too much about riding bikes and his customers and this meant he was great at offering deals, but I think this wasn't a money spinner.

There's a rumour going round that he now fixes street lights for the council.

Yes, I seem to remember hearing he'd got a job with the council. Something a bit more secure income wise.
