[#277540]

Are they?
Reason i ask is the XTR M960 seems to be about £27, the XT M770 £43 and XTR M970 £45.
Are there any physical differences between the three? I know there are differences between XT and XTR cranks, but not sure about the BBs.

Cheers

I bought Acros ones for £50 with 2 year guarantee.

After 2 months of being left in the cellar they were still smooth, unlike previous shimano offerings stiffening up after 2 weeks.

Cheers pieface, wasnt really looking for an alternative to Shimano, worth bearing in mind tho.
Just wanted to establish if there were any differences between the 3.

The Shimano ones are interchangable. That M960 seems very cheap, retail should be more than double that.

Just a thought, the M960 were available as left or right cups separately and they would be about the price you quote.

I wonder why M970s are cheaper than M960s?

This seems a better price.

M970 is interchangable with M770, marginally different bearing quality.
M960 is marginally narrower than above, so they tend to need a small spacer behind one cup to stop the crank preload bottoming out.
