Just got round to looking at an XT rear hub - just bought on here. I understand you undo from the disc side and not the drive side by 17 and 15mm cone spanners. But drive side nut is as loose as a loosy thing and the two locking nuts totally seized. Give the two locking nuts some welly and put some locking compound onto the drive side single nut?
Any help appreciated.

Let my girlfriend have a go and all sorted. Will lockthread the drive side on when spacing sorted.

No need for loctite, just get your husband to tighten it 😉
