Hello,
Xfusion have a decent video on how to adjust the travel on the Metric (180 -> 160mm)
They say to use an Arbor press to remove the pin.
I don't have an arbor press.
I tried to do it using an allen key and a Black and Decker Workmate, but the pin didn't move at all, even with a lot of pressure. The allen key was flexing and I feared for my life so stopped.
Does anyone have any experience in successfully bodging this without an arbor press?
Yes I hit it lots with a hammer & an allen socket. It wasnt my finest moment. I cannot believe how tight the pin was or how hard I had to hit it to make it move.
EDIT pull the flexi piston off the end before starting to save damaging it. Drill a small hole in a piece of wood for the pin to go into as you start hitting it.
In hindsight I would wait & get it done at a service interval. I went from 160mm to 180mm.

Thanks. I really did put a lot of force in so good to know it's not just me.
