Is there any?
Having misspent my youth on mtb's, then going full roadie and racing TT's and CX at a decent regional for the last five years, l'm toying with the idea of going full circle and selling the TT and getting an XC MTB for racing again. Ive been looking at a few web pages and apart from the Welsh round at Llandegla, l cant see much.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, or is it the case that l have to travel (a lot) to race?
The NW doesn't have an XC series where you can accrue ranking points AFAIK - there's the midweek MTB madness set of 6 races which is good (and attracts some serious riders) but that is more of a grassroots series.
There's a midland XC series and also Nutcracker racing put stuff on N Yorkshire. I think if you want to get properly involved you need to be prepared to travel.
