After a little searching I haven't found any info on this. Has anyone done it?

There's a PDF on the X fusion website showing how it's done, but you'll also need a 170 spring if they're 160 at the moment.

I remember something in the dim and distant past when looking up reviews of bikes - the Norco Range Killer B3 came with the (excellent) Vengeance, and someone found out how to make it 170mm from 160mm - here:

They're adjustable internally & an easy job-I did mine the other way as they're a flipping long fork to start with.
The only part needed is a spring to match the travel, about £20 IIRC.

This is for an air fork, but the pdf's only show 100-130-160, not 170mm.

I will check that link thank you bedfordrd.
