Welcome to the World Ice Racing Pursuit Federation.
The inaugral World Championship event will be held at Slattbergshallen in Trollhättan. Indoor ice rink. November 12th 2011. 6-8pm. Beer afterwards.
Bicycles of any style, studded tyres with maximum stud length of 3mm. Homemade or purchased.
The organisers (Craig and Myself), will supply two identical singlespeed mountainbikes with studded tyres fitted for your use if you do not have a suitable bike/tyres.
The competition is an eliminator, two riders start off opposite each other and ride for 2-3 laps (distance to be decided) Standing start, first one across his/her own respective start/finish line goes on to the next round.
Start fee will depend on how many we are on the day. The Ice Rink costs £50 to rent for 2 hours.
