So graves has taken a deserved 4X win with buchanan with a possible surprise win. But who's gonna win the big race, i seem to be placing a different winner on different forums but

mens DH - Sam Hill - looks like he can pedal after all.

womans DH - Sabrina, just always steps up to it when asked.

hannah or minnar

I hope peaty gets it though.

I also hope that rennie puts in a good run....it would be a shame if he left DH

I think its going to go to the fittest rider that makes no mistakes.

I'm hoping Peat does it and also somehow manages to clinch the win at the final WC and does the double.

naaaaa, i recon as its a pedaly track they probably all cruised it, no point wasting energy when all you need is a top 80 (or whatever the cut off is at the world's).

The track doesn't suit Sam

My money's on Atherton, mainly because of his BMX background, if anyone can sprint for 30s it's him.

I'd love to see Steve put the demon away and finish 1st but I can't help feeling that Greg is just that little bit better at the moment. Unfortunately Sam seems to be right up there too which could throw a spanner in the works for the Syndicate. I don't really think Gee has enough to pull it off again this year.

I have a feeling that it could be:

1st Minnaar
2nd Hill
3rd Peat
4th Hannah
5th Atherton

Got to keep an eye on Barel too as he has shown that he can step it up for the Worlds a couple of times now and has always been there or there abouts

don't think there is cut off in the worlds as you have to be chosen by your country unlike world cup where with a UCI point you or i can enter. correct me if i'm wrong.

You're not wrong, that's how it works.

tails - Yes, national federation can enter anyone they like, not like World Cup where you need a certain number of points to race.

Atherton is running an air shock with lockout, he could make up some time. I reckon he is one of the fitter riders, Atherton, Hill or Minnaar for me.

Anneke Beerten was shocked to be demoted to the small final after seemingly cruising through semi final no.2. The line judge however called a foul, for a reason that baffled Beerten

Cheating Ozzie bastewards!

DezB - yeah i read that over on dirt, that'd be tough in the world cup let alone the world champs. I asked on dirt forum what happened but guess billy is sleeping or partying.

My money's on Mick Hannah for the downhill - so long as he doesn't break anything.

He was round at my place in Oz last week (neighbour), and boy, is he fired up in his quiet way.

Shame his sister isn't riding - she got a really raw deal this year.
