I get the impression from PB comments that there's been some trail sanitising going on with gravelling certain sections.

Have to say, as we were there earlier this year, i'm massively excited to watch it. However, it won't be live as the boy is racing the National Champs in Enduro at Minehead.

@weeksy I spoke to the Nevis Range Manager at the cycling show last month - he said that the motor way section was being completely redone.

Be interesting to see how it stacks up.

What a line-up.

Imagine Rachel and Jordan winning (not unlikely) at the end and beginning of their elite careers respectively.

A shame for Reece Wilson

I thought he'd retired. Can't remember the last time we saw him on a bike.

Reece was racing the last World Cup IIRC

Obvs he's not in good enough form for selection though

Its a great squad for the DH. Arguably not the absolute 'pinnacle' of international talent in the mens, but rather a very wide spread of riders who are very much towards the fast end. 6 of them at least could snatch a win with a good weekend and a touch of luck. Only the French currently have such a pool to choose from I think.

I'll be there all weekend, cannot wait!
