I am running Hope pro II but find I have a lot of play on the cassette no matter how tight I tighten it. The same with the front and the maxel. Any ideas?

How old are they? Pro 2 bearings don't last all that long IME....

They did it from brand new and no problems with the Marzocchi fork they were on before.

Rear - take the cassette off and check the freehub is not wobbling on the axle.

Front - check the bearings are tight to their seats and that the maxle is done up properly. ie once it is thru the fork you need to tighten the plastic nut on the non qr end before flipping the qr

Sorry if thats a teach you granny to suck eggs thang

I jsut got an email from hope and they said there is a compatibility issue on some Maxel and Pro II hubs. As I said the Marz Z2's I had before were fine. I will try with a different cassette and see if that helps.
