Anyone got a recommendation for winter longs (ideally with a decent pad) that are
a) long enough for the more vertically stretched amongst us
b) tight enough at the ankle not to be like bell bottoms.

Tried some Enduras in XL (and XXL) to try and get the length. If you're listening Endura, make 'me longer and not every XL wearer has ankles widers than their waist... oh, and put the pad somewhere near the back of the longs where it might be useful, like when sitting n a saddle - I thought I'd put them on back to front!

i gave up and went with altura windtex fronted leg warmers with my favorite shorts ....

was the only way i didnt end up with a few inches at the bottom exposed.

Other than using shorts and legwarmers, biblongs with ankle loops are the only way I've managed to get around this. I generally buy medium (I'm 6'3", 36" chest, 37" inside leg) and rely on the fact that the lycra only has to stretch upwards, rather than out ๐Ÿ˜€

not every XL wearer has ankles wider than their waist.

Endura should do what Lusso do - hedge their bets and make tights for riders with one ankle wider than their waist
