Tonight I learned that not only is it not impossible to cycle in a strong wind but it's also possible to enjoy it.
Rather breezy in the Pentlands. I abandoned my plan of a circuit of Scald Law and the Kips. I got a text from a friend who wanted to take me to a party and that was good enough reason to stop being blown sideways on a bleak hillside.
Came back to town like a rocket.
Indeed..
Road riding is totally wind dependent, game of two halves, up yer bum or in yer face ๐
Yep.
My commute to work was ace, tailwind all the way. Coming home, my normal 20/22mph pace was dropped down to about 12/13mph with more effort going in.
I dislike it when it's rather windy.

Too much analysis, get on with it, stop moaning.
