9pm Thursday "Coldest Race On Earth" Discovery Channel - Fatbikes on TV, looks interesting...
Thanks
Let's hope this week he doesn't spend his nights in a camper or motel, and his breakfasts in a Wendys burger bar.
...Race?!
Eskimos.
Surely they must be the coldest race on Earth?
Thats the last of the James Cracknell trillogy, I go to admit he a legend.
He's definitely an athlete, But legend? nope.
Try Jure Robic if you're looking for a legend: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/05/sports/playmagazine/05robicpm.html?_r=4&pagewanted=print
Just watching him going across America.
I'm sure there are holes you can pick etc, but it is good TV and it makes my 12 mile into 20mph headwind Pentlands evening ride that I was chuffed about doing yesterday look like what it really is - a walk in the park!
Wow, just saw he got knocked off his bike by a truck on day 5 of his across America race... in hospital for 2 months, frontal lobe injury, major stuff man. I dunno if his fatbike race has been shown before on TV, but I'm going to be watching it and rooting for him!
The Fatbike race was in February this year, results are here if you want a spoiler.
